VOLUNTEER WITH US
Help us build the team behind the films.
We're a volunteer-run collective in West Yorkshire, building towards becoming a Community Interest Company. We're looking for a few people to join our team, each owning one clear piece of how we grow.
OPEN ROLES
Own the day-to-day voice of Untitled Filmmakers on Instagram, and grow it into a place filmmakers want to follow.
What you'll do
- Review and approve the weekly post drafts against our voice guide

First 30 days
- Learn the posting pipeline, then approve a full month of posts
Suits you if
- You already live on social media, write clearly and care about getting tone right
Get our network in the same room, from regular meetups to screenings.
What you'll do
- Plan and run a network meetup, then at least one event each quarter, such as a screening or Q&A
- Find and book venues across West Yorkshire
- Handle invitations, sign-ups and the plan for the day
- Celebrate festival selections with the people who made the films
- Collect feedback and photos so we can improve and promote the next one
First 30 days
- Propose and date the first meetup
Suits you if
- You're organised, friendly and good at pulling a room together
Own our relationships with universities and film schools across Yorkshire.
What you'll do
- Build a target list of institutions and the right course contacts
- Introduce us by email and in person, and offer guest talks, screenings and collaborations
- Show students and graduates how to join the talent network and work on real productions
- Keep a simple record of every conversation, so it carries on if you step back
First 30 days
- Produce the target list and send first introductions
- First 90 days: three real conversations
Suits you if
- You're confident writing to strangers, patient and persistent, and ideally know the education sector
Get our films and festival wins into the press.
What you'll do
- Write press releases when a film is selected or completed
- Build and maintain a press kit: logo, photos, biographies and film summaries
- Pitch regional and trade publications and radio
- Keep a media contact list and track the coverage
- Make sure announcements credit our funders and partners correctly
First 30 days
- Build the press kit and release the next festival news
Suits you if
- You write well to a deadline, know how journalists work and enjoy a good story
